New York City Center’s Artivism Lab celebrates the impact of arts in activism and engages young peoples’ personal agency and creativity as a tool for change. Over the course of eight weeks, participants will find inspiration in the works of both historic and current artivists from many disciplines, expand their artistry through individual and collective artmaking, and have dedicated lab time to create under the guidance of seasoned artists. The culmination of their journey will be a presentation of work, a unique opportunity to share their voice and vision with a broader audience.
