We cordially invite all artists to submit proposals for AURORA's VAN 2026 program, taking place on the evening of April 17, 2026 at the AT&T Discovery District, during a one-night free public art event that will transform the outdoor site. Regional and national artists and collectives, aged 18 and above, are invited to propose their moving image artworks for the opportunity to be included in the 2026VAN program. We welcome innovative proposals that respond to our uncertain present marked by ecological, technological, and socio-political transformations. Submitted artworks should explore states of metamorphosis and in-betweenness, considering what we release, what we carry forward, and how we move through change. We’re particularly interested in works that engage with Dallas’s ongoing urban and ecological transformation and its impact on various communities. Artists should propose video artworks to be projected onto walls that are in vertical format, contributing to an immersive group exhibition that will offer visitors a chance to experience art in an unconventional setting.
