I am a generational New Orleanian. before moving to Saudi Arabia I lived near Bayou Lafourche and much of my work is influenced by my experience living near Donaldsonville and Pierre Part. In the 1980s I lived and traveled throughout the Middle East and Europe. My work is a collaboration of these experiences.
I am a trauma-sensitive art psychotherapist and I believe the process of making art in unison with Neuroscience leads to healing. I believe that we can heal from trauma through the arts as well as learning how to integrate the trauma through the creative process.
