I’m an architect & artist based out of New Orleans.
My paintings are mostly acrylic on canvas and wood panel, and my process is grounded in observation, focusing on drawing, measuring, spatial relationships and color interaction. Although my recent work leans toward representation, abstract studies shape how I build paintings.
My architecture and painting practices inform one another through techniques of diagramming, iteration, compositional balance, conceptual mapping, and establishing part-to-whole relationships. All of it is guided by a desire to understand how we perceive, experience, and organize information.
